Kentucky Knocks Off No. 10 LSU In Overtime

LEXINGTON, Kentucky (LAAN 54) — LSU suffered a one-point defeat Saturday, falling to Kentucky 35-34 in overtime in Lexington.

The Tigers entered the matchup ranked No. 10 nationally but could not leave Kentucky with a win. The Wildcats secured the upset on their home field after a contest that needed overtime to settle the result.

For Louisiana college football fans, the defeat puts the spotlight on a now two-loss LSU following a close game against an SEC opponent. Kentucky’s victory gives the Wildcats a significant result against a nationally ranked team.

With the final score separated by just one point, the matchup came down to a final two-point conversion rather than a comfortable win for either side.

Kentucky finished the night with a 35-34 victory over the Tigers.
